JACKET REQUIRED: Hey There, Daddy-O
A collection of DJs (and a few paperbacks) with father related titles in honor of today's patriarchal holiday. I also tossed in a movie poster of the screen version of a play I've always loved.
Very nice selection of "Dad's Day" covers! The poster is interesting....especially the bit about doing "for mothers what Moby Dick did for whales." Hmmm. Not a Moby Dick fan, so I'm not sure I'm enthused about that. :-p

ReplyDeleteI like the covers. His Father's Wife... I guess it is about a young, vivacious stepmother.
ReplyDeleteI've just started an Oppenheim.
Love that cover for the Carr book!
ReplyDeleteFather Brown probably has no biological offspring to honour him on Father's Day. I would hope not anyway.
ReplyDeleteGreat covers. The only one I've read is THE FATHER HUNT by Rex Stout. Fabulous.
